Priscilla Flores

Bio

Priscilla Flores is an artist, published author, and received her BFA in Fine Arts from Cal East Bay in 2022. She’s been featured in the Rising Exhibition at CSU East Bay (2022), authored the novel Lightning Second Edition (2022), with over ninety of her own illustrations, and A Welcomed Collapse (2022). Much of her work consists of drawings inspired by dreams, imagination, and everyday experiences. Priscilla lives in California with her son, where she continues to work on her art and writing.

Artist Statement

Priscilla Flores has always felt the urgency to draw. Through exploring the entire spectrum of art mediums, the love and obsession with color and ink have become part of her daily experience. Specifically, alcohol markers with an overlay of colored pencils are the tools she regularly chooses to use in almost all her work. 

What she tries to capture the most in is the existence of a world that is beyond our own, a world that is seen at night, or an unknown timeline. She’s inspired by dreams and myths.
