Faces of Saturn

by Priscilla Flores

Through exploring the entire spectrum of art mediums, the love and obsession with color and ink have become part of my daily experience. Specifically, alcohol markers with an overlay of colored pencils are the tools I’ve grown to enjoy and work with in every art piece. What I try to capture the most in my work is the existence of a world that is beyond our own, a world that is seen or experienced at night, or I hope to embody the Saturn Myth, an idea that planets were closer—much, much closer. I log my dreams in a leather book and use these visions to create my work, and hope to encourage my own mind to never stop what happens during the night.
